Travis Baughn, vice president of clinical solutions at Optum Rx, leads clinical product innovation efforts within the organization. As a clinical pharmacist with a product strategy background, Travis has worked for over a decade within the PBM industry developing clinical product solutions in a variety of areas, from formulary products and clinical engagement solutions to clinical analytic platforms and pharmacogenomic programs. He is interested in leveraging complex analytic and clinical models that identify populations most likely to benefit from intervention programs while finding impactful solutions payers need to manage drug trends.
At Optum RX, he leads a clinical product innovation team developing and managing various clinical products centered around pharmacogenomics, academic provider detailing, obesity management and high-cost specialty interventions.
