Misi Holmberg, CEBS, CPSP Panera Bread
Misi Holmberg, CEBS, CPSP, has been an integral part of Panera Bread’s human resources team since 2012, currently serving as the director, benefits. In this role, she is responsible for driving Panera’s benefits strategy and design. Misi oversees all health and welfare and retirement benefit programs including leave of absence administration, vendor management and the development and execution of well-being programs to enhance the overall associate experience.
Before joining Panera, Misi served as director, human resources for Equifax Workforce Solutions and held the role of benefit analyst for St. Anthony’s Medical Center, among other HR roles. She has extensive work experience in all aspects of benefits administration and plan design, employee relations, employee and management development, HR and LOA administration and various HR systems. She also has experience in project management and mergers and acquisitions.
Misi is a summa cum laude graduate of Pittsburg State University (PSU), holding a bachelor’s in psychology and master’s in human resource development. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists and the Plan Sponsor Council of America.
Beyond her professional commitments, Misi serves on the Board of Directors for the St. Louis Business Health Coalition, the PSU Alumni Association Board of Directors and as an at-large member of the Housing Corporation of Sigma Sigma Sigma’s Chi Chapter at PSU.
