Laura Rudder Huff Gallagher
Laura Rudder Huff is vice president of research and insights for Arthur J. Gallagher & Company. In this role, Laura works with health care organizations and large employers seeking to create value in the health care system. Laura’s work largely focuses on conducting patient, customer and market research, developing and implementing strategies, business development and producing communication materials.
A skilled communicator, writer and project manager, Laura has used her expertise since joining the Gallagher team to oversee and participate in projects working to build a more efficient health care system aimed at preserving patient choice and physician flexibility while containing costs. Laura has extensive experience in workforce health management, trends in employer health care benefits, patient preferences, health and wellness, consumerism, consumer-directed health plans and copay offset programs.
Laura received an honors Bachelor of Arts degree and certificate in business administration from Saint Louis University. She previously worked in government relations as a liaison between federal policymakers and technology and homeland security companies. She also served as co-chair of the Women in Government Relations Homeland Security Task Force in Washington, D.C. Laura has also authored articles published in peer-reviewed journals, is conversant in Spanish and active in her community, most notably as a supernumerary in an annual professional opera festival.
