Improving the PBM Experience: Employers Health 2024 Client Satisfaction Survey Results

Employers Health works to reduce benefit costs for employers and employees. Through the collective power of group purchasing for pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services, employers maximize the value of their benefit plans while providing employees and their families with affordable health care benefits. With over 400 clients covering more than 1.9 million lives, Employers Health clients and their plan participants have access to the best PBM pricing and services.

Since the beginning, we’ve been dedicated to providing the best PBM experience possible.

Our dedication to helping plan sponsors deliver high-quality health care benefits at a sustainable cost is not something we take lightly. Every year we strive to improve and ensure plan sponsors and participants achieve value in the form of better outcomes, better experiences and better costs. In the past year, we have added 29 team members to support the growth of our PBM purchasing program and ensure clients receive the service they deserve. All Employers Health clients have dedicated client solutions executives and clinical representatives who fulfill our promise to provide affordable pricing while maximizing the pharmacy benefits experience. To evaluate client satisfaction, we conduct an annual client satisfaction survey.

  • Overall Satisfaction Score: 4.8 on a 5-point scale
  • Net Promoter Score: 87
  • CVS Overall Implementation Satisfaction Score: 4 on a 5-point scale

It’s not just our dedicated client executives who help our clients deliver better benefits at a sustainable cost. This past year, our business development team added over 80 new clients to our book of business, bringing our total group purchasing program for pharmacy benefits to over $4 billion in annual pharmacy spend. The addition of new clients and increased spend helps the Employers Health contracting team negotiate better pricing and terms on behalf of our existing clients. Each year, you can be sure you are providing your organization and its participants with the best pharmacy benefits, ultimately resulting in healthier and happier employees who are able to focus on their jobs instead of rising pharmacy costs.
